Happy...

Flowers make me happy. I love having flowers around me, from the time i was a kid, my mother always and i mean always had flowers around in the house, she had a lady come over every week from a village bringing her fresh flowers, we used to call her the flower lady! She would arrive in the morning with a huge tray on her head, full of freshly picked up flowers, she would sip her coffee while my mom chose the bouquets she fancied.. Collecting memories..

I read lately that the things we collect in our homes are a reflection of who we are..Why do we collect things? And what kind of things do we keep around us? Are you productive?

My mama used to always tell me when I was a kid, “I don’t want to see you sitting doing nothing, be productive!” And I was; I learned from her to be creative with my hands, stenciling the nursery before the kids were born, designing on glass, creating decoupage projects, sewing baby clothes, writing, and finally creating jewelry, and all of these activities gave me a sense of purpose. Handmade with Love

My jewelry is 100% handmade; The pieces are not identical, they are not perfect, they are handmade with love. And i believe that anything handmade is way more precious than a machine made piece. The artisans working on a piece have a story, their soul pours into their work, the magic of their hands, their mood...Which is why i prefer handmade.  I have always been a bit poetic and romantic and a dreamer to boot, so you...

First i love the calligraphy of the Arabic N letter, it flows and i find it very harmonious and feminine. The second reason is that according to legend, the letter noon comes from ancient Egyptian gods, Nun and Nunet who represented male and female, yin and yang, infinite energy and matter. The letter noon (pronounced in Arabic) represents transformation. As a woman, i find this very interesting,...
