The N Letter

These are one of my favorite pair of earrings; light weight, chandelier, statement.

Whenever i wear them people ask me why the N letter, because of my daughter Nour? Actually not at all! First i love the calligraphy of the Arabic N letter, it flows and i find it very harmonious and feminine.

The second reason is that according to legend, the letter noon comes from ancient Egyptian gods, Nun and Nunet who represented male and female, yin and yang, infinite energy and matter. The letter noon (pronounced in Arabic) represents transformation. As a woman, i find this very interesting, since we do change with time, physically and mentally (and our energy rocks!), we transform through the years..

And that’s the reason behind the N letter in my jewelry 🙂
